i need help on my phone it just shows "USB Download Mode"

I was on a call this afternoon when all of a sudden my phone turns off. Then, I turn it on but to my surprise it just shows a white screen and says "USB Download Mode" and it isn't connected to anything at all...help?!

It is a Samsung flip phone...one of the first phones that Cricket came out with :/ but it has always worked fine and now it's flashing onn and off...it's possessed D;
