I need help on a history project?

You can't think of anything? Try substituting some of the words with pioneer words. Like:
"A hundred days have passed since the last time that I saw my pretty land.
A thousand miles have made me colder And I don't think I can remember home as the same.
But all the miles that separate Disappear when I'm dreaming of my land."
Something like that. Be creative. I would do more except I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to have a teenage girl do the work for you. XD
 
Okay, we have to re-make any song with our own words. it has to be about explorers moving west. like the pioneers and all them. it has to say stuff about what hardships they faced and why they went there.

For example, one group was writing about indians going west and they re-did Love Story by Taylor Swift. Their lyrics went:
"We were all young when we started moving. I close my eyes and the flashback starts: I'm moving west, in a wagon full of winter air. See the crowds see the hungry people. I see you in the crowd say "oh-see-oh" little did i know: that you were moving west, the government made you..." and so on.

my group's song is "Here Without You by 3 Doors Down" due tomorrow. PLEASE help!!!
