Mason, he's arrogant and
a snot, super self-centered. His friends get fed up with him and leave. Then they
beat him up over some rumor that Ray's ex-girlfriend, Cassidy, is going out with him.
Then his dad cuts him off from using the car and credit cards so he has to learn how
to work and get on in life. He ends up stealing money from his dad so his dad sends
him out to live on his own for a whole year. He gives him just enough money to stay
at a hotel until he finds a job.
He meets Conner. A poor kid who works day and night to keep food on the table for
his family, mom and younger sister and older brother. His older brother is sick though.
Throughout the year he's only aloud the contact his dad once a month. Conner's older brother gets really really sick and it'll be like the
last month for the year that Mason's gotta be away from home and money but
then he goes to his dad and begs him to take care of the medical bills and the
surgery that Conner's brother needs.
Its still a work in progress and I hope this bit of information helps you help me get a good name for the book.
thanks for the help. I know its very cliche but I once read that retelling a story is a good thing. Makes me feel better about not being able to find an original idea.
