financial adviser person.? ive been apart of my husbands family for 6 year and still going. my father in law is in a care facility not far from us. he originally wanted my husband and i to be the person in charge of his financial. He first off ended up in the hospital for drinking, while under the influence of whatever medication he was on while in the hospital, his cousin got him to sign the deed to the house we were in over to her. 2 days after he got home we got served papers to get out of the house. aka evicted from our own house. we didnt know that she illegally did an act of elder abuse...well its been 2 almost 3 years and my father in law is now in a good elderly home but his cousin is still in charge. he got the money from our house that sold which was good. and he wanted to buy his son, my husband a car. i already had my car but it was becoming a hassle for our family. his job my job and our daughter needing to be picked up and dropped off,....well anyways he wanted to get him a car for his birthday as well and my father in law's cousin was completely okay with it and ever since her car got wrecked (driving while on the phone) her fault, she has become a money hungry greedy and stingy person. just like when she got my dad to sign over the deed while dosed up. so now she is saying that he cant afford to buy us a car and that he has to fix her car first. and we use to be able to take him out and about for outings and she recently called his facility to make sure no one can take him out or visit him...i really think something is wrong and i really dont know what to do.
please help me.
