i need help installing my game dues ex invisible war. and error messge?

ive been trying to install my game deus ex invisible war. but every time i try to install it an error messege comes out saying " error ; data error (cyclic redundancy check). i dont know wat this means i just finished defragmenting my drive. i have direct x 9 in my viedo card. i have windows xp btu what could be the problem?
