I need help installing my car stereo, in regards to the wiring.?

The way it works is coming off of the aftermarket deck you should have a yellow wire which is a constant 12 volts, and then an accessory wire which is yellow which gets 12 volts while the vehicle's key is in accessory or running. The wire colors I got for your vehicle are pink for constant and red/white for accessory. If those are the correct wire colors you would wire pink with the yellow wire coming off of the deck, and then red/white with the red wire coming off the deck. I'd meter the wires prior to hooking anything up though just to play it safe, but hopefully that clears up your problem a little bit.
 
I have a 96 dodge caravan. the constant and ignition wiring. Are they suppose to be connected to the red wire, so two wires connected to one wire. And does the purple wire (I believe that's the memory) suppose to be connected to the power as well? If anyone knows how to do this let me know.
