I need help installing adobe flash?

I have tried and tried again to install the latest flash update. but everytime i do it starts the installation then say "The process has unexpectedly crashed. The process will now terminate." or something along those lines. i feel like this shouldn't be this complicated. help!
thanks for reading the question retard. i obviously already tried that.
