I need help identifying these paintings.?

Can anyone identify these two pictures? My dad picked them up overseas in the fifties while in the military. They are unsigned as far as I can tell.

I can only tell you the obvious. One is of the coliseum & the other is of Venice, but at least that gives you something to search on.
