So i got a speeding ticket back in the end of july/begining of august for speeding. i had every intention of pleading guilty and paying the fee. i called the court to see if i could do traffic school and they said i could. so the day after i recieved my ticket i did the traffic school so i would have to pay a lower amount.(this all occured in las vegas, nevada) my court date wasnt untill some time in november so i put my ticket in my wallet so i would not lose it. the cop that issued the ticket didnt file it until way after i recieved the ticket. so having my ticket in my wallet for so long and not being able to pay for the fine cuz it wasnt in the system, all the ink that was on my ticket rubbed off!! so i had a blank ticket and no idea where or when i was supposed to send the money in to clear up the ticket. so i went online and tried to find the correct courthouse to call to check up on my ticket. i found a courthouse which i believed was the correct courthouse and i periodically checked if the ticket was filed or not. so it got to now where i was positive what should have been my court date passed and figured that the cop just didnt file the ticket and gave me a break or something so i didnt worry about it untill now i have a warrant out for my arrest when i didnt even know the cop filed the damm ticket. WHAT DO I DO!!!!?????!?!?!
