Hi. I followed the tutorial at http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/tutorials/how-to-setup-local-web-server-with-latest-apache-php-and-mysql-packages/ to install and setup apache, php, and mysql. Everything worked fine. Then I followed the instructions at the pear website to get pear set up. That worked fine as well. But I ran into problems when I tried to update pear using go-pear.php. I run the file in the command prompt. I go through all the questions. Then it starts to go through the process of updating. It gets to a point where it says extracting installer ................. followed by C:\dev\progs\PHP\PEAR> and waits for me to enter the next command. I check the apache error log and it says [Sun Dec 26 09:43:05 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: C:/dev/www/announce. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
