I need help generating an HTML code?

I'm just making a sentence with different colors. I have most of the thing set up but what I want is to have a sentence with every other word a different color and I don't want to have a separate html code for each sentence because then they're not all together and they stack on top of each other. It's like this- <p><font color="#000000" size="1" face="Text Font">Blah blah blah</p></font> so in between the words I just want to change the color and then change it back again without affecting the whole sentence if that makes sense? I'd appreciate all of your help
