By the way this is an 8th grade assignment so please use 8th grade level words. 
this is what i have so far:
This tragic story of star-crossed lovers
Starts when they meet each other at the ball
Romeo’s feelings begin to reverse
Juliet’s beauty takes away his gall
They join hands in marriage without delay
While the Friar hopes it will end the fight
Of their families but later that day
Tybalt’s death forced Romeo to take flight
Now he is banished and poor Juliet
Resolves to drink a potion to seem dead
Romeo kills himself not knowing yet
That his love was just dreaming dreams of dread
i thought of a couplet but i dont know if this is good enough or if it makes sense:
Their parents seeing their doomed affection
Resulted in their reconciliation
Ideas greatly appreciated thanks
P.S. i would also like to know what you guys think of my sonnet. If you think it can be improved, please post suggestions thanks
