I need help finding a certain type of weed in a garden?

I'm writing a book and I love to refer to things with flowers. (Im weird) In this case I would like to know if there is a weed that is really beautiful that can easily be mistaken as a flower but still can destroy a garden. If Im being too specific I would like a weed that can devestate a garden but still has flowers.
 
Bindweed, wild roses, dandelion etc. Might be a good idea to look up a few gardening sites on the web- or just put 'weeds' into google and see what happens.
