I need help figuring this out...ex girlfriend is confusing.?

So my ex broke up with me a month ago...and the reason I think is because she wasnt over her past boyfriend before me who, in fact, treated her like shit. However, her reasons where basically excuses like, " not ready for a relationship, you're too good for me, you deserve better". After her past boyfriend treated her like shit and they broke up I was there for her. I was there in her darkest in brightest hour. I prevented her from killing herself, helped her stop cutting herself, helped her redefine herself and boost her ego and self esteem. Now that she broke up with me I realized that she wasn't ready to love. However, she has found someone new... Yes a new boyfriend...in under a month. A friend of mine was texting her before she became someone else's problem and asked her if she still liked me, but she never answered. If you don't like me...then why not say it, right? So she told her that she wanted to talk to me. I receive a message on facebook saying, " we need to talk, im not playing, this is serious." then I responded a minute later and said, "what" then she says "...nvm -_- it doesnt matter anymore" so I just went with the flow and said okay...two days later... Shes in a relationship with someone else on facebook and my friend tell me that she is happy. I can't seem to figure out why after everything I did she still dumped me, I dropped what I was doing for her at any time ..anywhere. Also, What I can't seem to figure out is... Why didn't she tell my friend whether or not she still likes me or not and avoided that question.. Then snags someone new?

Ps. When we were together she told me that she doesn't know where I came from, but the fact that I am here gives her every reason to trust me, love me, and stick by me, that she is totally grateful for putting up with her bs and she thanks me with all her heart.
