I need help connecting to xbox live via Motorola Droid with Easytether lite?

Okay, i've tried everything, allowed sharing on the Droid connection, etc, i've done it all, i mean it connects and gets me to sign up for xbox live, i enter my email, a password, then it never fails, it says Unable To Register For Xbox Live, Try Again Later, or something of that sort, please help me, either i need to fix MTU settings or something, i use my laptop as a bridge also.. thanks guys:) step by step instructions would be great:)
