I've exhausted every possible option, and it looks like there are literally only three ways for me to afford to get into a decent college, sell all of my belongings (everything), win the lottery, or join a branch of the military. I want to serve, but I have absolutely no idea what branch. I would love being out at sea and traveling a lot, but not so much if i wasn't able to enjoy it while i was there, that would just feel like being given a new car with the exception that i wasn't allowed to drive it. I think the same goes for flying, i like to enjoy that kind of thing, i'm not sure if i would want it to be my job.
Now the army or marines seem like better choices, maybe the coast guard or something else? If i were in the military i think i would rather be out in the middle of the action than anything else. ive thought a lot about each branch, but i just dont know. i need some guidance.
