I need classic controllers!

Yeah I'd say that has a lot to do with it. I've never had good experiences with rechargables.

I'm kinda worried about the Wii-Mote battery life and haven't really heard much about how bad it drains batteries. The Wavebird's last a while, but they don't have sound or rumble.

yeah i have 2 wavebirds, and my buddies and i play smash bros a lot (mad button mashing), and my batteries last really long, more than 50 hours i'd say.

at my old house, i walked across the street and the wavebird was still working with my gamecube inside the house. the wavebird is the best wireless controller (of the last gen, for sure, not sure if you compare it to the new gen).

these things fucking rock, I don't know why they want to use the GC controllers for games like dragon ball z and super smash brothers, the classic controller feels so fucking great, its like an upgraded SNES controller. they feel higher quality than most old school controllers, none of that PC ergonomic crap, it's perfection god damnit!

no, most games just wouldn't work that way. its like trying to fly a DC-10 with a can of easy cheese. there's just no way you could make it work. some games however like the Dragon Ball fighter you can use a game cube controller or the wii controller with nunchuck. but most games were designed to be used with motion control and could never be properly converted to a traditional controller.

thats were i think Xbox did great/ you can use the charge pack w/ usb, or use regular batteries.

granted Wii's can use rechargable batteries too, but you cant play while charging like the 360.
