Okay well I drive a 1988 Honda Civic DX 4 door sedan. Ive been researching "Sound Deadening" and Ive decided Im going to do it to my car. Since im new to the whole working on cars thing, i need some help and directions.
Well the name brand sound deadening stuff (Dynamax for example) is way to expensive. So ive been reading forums and a lot of people use this stuff call "Peel and Seal" which is basically the same thing i guess. I can buy it at Lowe's for pretty cheap. It comes in 6"x25' rolls. Well I need to know how many rolls or this stuff i need. Can anyone tell me? I want to do my whole trunk, and my 4 doors.
Also any tips about this whole process would be greatly appreciated! Im an amateur and this is my first time doing anything like this! So im hoping to be successful at it! Any guidance is welcome!
