i really don't have any sanitizer for his water or anything like i am supposed to but i have a nice sized vase (not technically a 'vase') that he is in and he can see out of it and everything but a few hours ago he was beautiful and active and i had to change his water because it was getting filthy and that's exactly how my very last one died and i didn't know. i put tap water in it and sat him inside of another container inside of his bowl so he could adjust to the water and i put him inside and for a little while he was doing fine but when i got done cooking, he was standing in one place, no movement whatsoever, the tip of his fins at the very bottom of his body are turning white and when he swims (barely), his whole body shivers.. what the heck is going on? is it what i think? dying? too cold? etc
lol ok this will be my third one, i wont pick the best answer because every single one of you guys are right and were helpful, at this very moment, he is still at the top of the water suffering and is not moving still, im going to get some conditioner and distilled water THANKS YALL
