How is it possible to get a positive culture then a negative blood test?
Back in february I had a positive culture for genital HSV1, and 2 and half weeks ago I had a blood test to make sure I have it 100%. Everything wasn't adding up. I messed around with this one guy that says he didn't know that he had it but yet the girl he messed around with a week before got it, then I got it. ( He lied and told me he hadn't slept with any one for a year and half. I did make him wear a condom but he took it off when I went to the washroom and I didn't know, but this was from oral sex.) His blood test came back negative for it. I know for a fact that if he's clean so am I 100%. Not just that my ex got an outbreak a day and half after kissing me and 2 weeks after messing around but yet I still didn't get anything. I still haven't recieved a call from the clinic on the blood test to tell me if it's negative or positive and this Thursday will be 3 week.
