I have a book I want to write, but the hardest part is starting the first chapter. I want it to take place in the government, or even an attack. I'm just so stuck. . .
sometimes its best to start somewhere else in your book (or even just somewhere else in the chapter) rather than the beginning if you already have an idea sparked up in your head.
its kind of like when teachers advise you to think of a title AFTER youve written the story; write the beginning later on instead of first. hope i helped
