I need advice on how to get my horse to listen to my aids without hassle.?

She's a 6 year old Haflinger. She is really sweet, and currently we're working on dressage. I know it bored her, and she'd like something more exciting. But before we can move on she needs to listen to me. I've tried being gentle when I ask her. I move along with her movements fairly well, and I've tried to make her do what I ask. I'm running out of ideas, and was wondering if there is any advice any one would like to give. Please and thank you.

Well, if it's a she, sounds like she's a bit marish, which can be a challenge. I would recommend getting trainers advice in person, since I'd really need to see it to give you good advice.
