My son and his girlfriend, out of wedlock had a beautiful baby daughter.
He was only 17 at the time. Well at first he got along pretty good
with the girlfriends mother and because her husband didn't, things
erupted between my son and her husband. The mother herself
is kind of scam artist getting assistant from the state while holding
a full time job, and made sure both her son and daughter got social security and then took their checks for herself. When things erupted, my son did not get arrested after violating a restraining order.( Still
as a minor.) The City of Glendale, here in Arizona waited until
he turned 18 to come and get him. We questioned it at the
time and were given the runaround. He was sentenced for eighty eight
days. Is this a legal practice that's common these days or do we have
any recourse?
