I need a rugged phone, but I like gadgets

I need a phone that is rugged...like the mil spec ones. The only one att has is a samsung, it would be ok if it had a memory card slot and usb connectivity. I use the camera alot and 128 mb will not cut it. Some other carriers seem to have a better selection but I don't know if they will work with att. Does anyone have a sugestion.....that does not involve switching companies. Thanks
