I need a protein skimmer Saltwater Tank Fish and Live Rock only?

I have a 29 gallon tank which I purchased for my son, we need to but a protein skimmer. Anyone know what would work best brand and model. I only plan on having rock and a few fish.
 
I second the vote for the AquaC! They have a great nano version you can usually get for under $150. Tunze make a great little skimmer too for about the same price.

If you are on a budget, the Rio nano skimmer only runs about $30 and is OK. It is recommended for up to 20 gallons, but should still be applicable on the slightly larger tank.
