My mom is aggrivating me because she wont give me any ideas for my aunt's birthday. I cant afford much and I dont want to give her cash. I wanted to get her a useful item. She has sold a lot of things to get some extra money (including trying to sell her house. Thats how tight money is for her) and I just want an idea that isn't a weird gift to give someone. Like a mop would be weird. lol.
I just feel like if I give her $25 its not going to help as much as something like an iron or a lamp. I dont want to seem degrading and like we're all rubbing it in her face that she needs money. I am her niece...i'm half her age. If a 11 year old was trying to give me money to survive I'd feel uncomfortable taking it. I dont want her to feel that way.
Any practical ideas would be appreciated! She has 2 dogs and a sedan style car too so anything practical to use for them works too!
