I need a particular Gurren Lagann image.

All right, does anyone have an image (or can take an image) of the last scene of the third opening? You know, where Simon has his back to the camera and is walking on this starlight walkway?

In particular, I need the full vertical image if anyone can manage it. From where Simon is standing, up to the galaxy in the distance.

Something like that? Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the star at the very top, seeing how the galaxy was slowly rotating while the camera was moving, (which is still somewhat noticable here) and extending the image to include that just made it look awful.

Simple; I just took a bunch of screenshots and spliced them together. Seeing how the only thing that was moving in this scene was the galaxy and Simon, it was pretty easy, too.

Oh, can I ask for another? My memory's a bit fuzzy, so it might be two screencaps.

Both are from the same scene in the final episode. I think there was the dramatic shot of when Simon gets his coat back after the wedding, the other would be the very last shot before the credits role, where Simon is leaving the wedding.

Certainly.

And seeing how this also gave me a perfect excuse to rip the final battle from my DVRAB, (I'd been intending to do that for a while so that I could put it on my iPod) this actually turned out to be helpful to me as well, so yay.

Sweet! I've been meaning to make a signature for another forum out of that image!

Okay, one last. An animated GIF this time. The part where Simon gets the star-shaped sunglasses. To be precise, both a still image of the front view where they've fully formed, and the sequence itself. They'd make a great avatar.

wow, you're not kidding with that. My first couple of tries with the star ... that thing was all over the place and didn't look right at all. But because I now had a goal, I couldn't stop until I finally got it to work.

and this one right here, I always liked it. Wish I had it on a poster or something.

Okay, then how about just a screencap of his face at the end of the transformation?

Indeed. Personally, I think that's one of the most epic scenes in OP history. It's amazingly subtle, yet grandiose at the same time.
