I have 5 children and my yukonXL was just fine but now we have custody of 2 more and I need something bigger. I don't want a huge van I would like something sporty. Anyone know of something or of a way to add a seat to some other type of vehicle? Most big SUV's only seat 8 at the most so I'd need to add another seat but not sure if that's possible and in what kind of vehicle.

I have seen station wagons with opposite facing seats that have enough room to fit 9.

3 in the front

3 in the back

3 facing the other way in the back towards the boot.

I don't think you could fit 9 into a regular sized car.

I believe the Chevrolet Suburban will seat 9; you access the rear row by folding down one back position in the second row. Incidentally, I don't think any manufacturer has that third rear-facing seat any longer.

You could also do what Jon and Kate did, and go to a small bus.

well really the only thing you can get is a van if you need seating for 9
like you said a SUV like you said seats 8
they really is no way of helping you

You could try an old limousine. Or maybe strap an old couch to the top of your Yukon (Make sure it has seat belts) Seriously, Im not real sure that any manufacturers have tackled the "Sporty, Nine Passenger Vehicle" niche yet. A van is just about your only option. Maybe try a Suburban with the bench front seat and the third row seating... But nothing real "sporty" about a suburban.
