I need a brake line replaced in a 96 Mazda 626.How many brakes lines are there?Should

all be replaced at once? Can you actually see the brake lines if the car is jacked up and you get under it?
Is there a correct term used to describe the entire brake lines? Help Please!

ya got brake lines which are metal and then ya have brake hoses which are rubber
