in the additional science exam in yr 10 i got a C in yr 11 i had picked applied science (big mistake) and i want to take chemistry for A level but i need a B for additional science my marks are good except for biology i got 17/40 which put me down how can i retake this to do chemistry for A level i have finished all my exams is it too late
i need a B for additional science to take chemistry how can i get it?

You can't resit GCSE's as far as I'm aware, only AS and A levels
But my school was quite understanding when it came down to this and gave students a bit of space, but my 6th form was at my school so the teachers knew our abilities
I think the best you can do now is show that it is only biology that you are lacking in and since that's not what you want to do anyway then you are perfectly able to do chemistry.
If you want to do science at university I'm sure you can do a foundation course before hand which involves chemistry, biology and physics.
So basically I think the best you can do now is enjoy the summer and dont worry yourself with it until you have to choose your subjects because theres nothing you can do until then. good luck
