keep my instate tuition? I lived in a state all my life. I went to a state college and graduated in may. I moved out of my parents house and got a job in a different state, Ohio. I have been living in Ohio for about 3 months now, but want to go back to school (at my original state). Can I still get my instate tuition? How long can I live in Ohio and go back and still get in state tuition in my original state?

In-state tuition is only open to legal residents of the state. If you have not made the efforts to become a legal resident of Ohio (change drivers license, file permanent address change, etc.), and are still considered a legal resident of your home state, then you receive in-state tuition.

If you have made the legal change, then you will not receive in-state tuition, even if you have only lived in your "new" state for 2 days. You will have to change legal residence again.

Time is not a factor. What you've done so far in terms of legal change does.
