I missed a court date which I was subpoenaed to appear as a witness! What do I do?

Call the court. If your testimony was important to the case they may have continued the case and scheduled another court date. You wouldn't be held in contempt unless the case was a big deal. If it was for some type of misdeamenor...I wouldn't worry too much. Just call the court and they can tell you the disposition of the case.
 
go to youtube and give your diposition over the web!!!! then call then to retrieve it. good luck
 
I live in Texas. If I was subpoenaed to appear in Spittoon, Saskatchewan, they can try peeing up a rope while waiting for me. I also won't hold my breath waiting for any kind of warrant to be served for my arrest. Extradition would cost them a WHOLE LOT more than any testimony I could ever offer.

Now, if you live there, I'd call and find out what the disposition is. Failure to answer a subpoena is considered Contempt of Court with a fine and maybe a day or two of jail. Probably the worst is that you'd have to Show Cause why you failed to appear. As long as it's for anything other than you just didn't feel like it, they'll probably give due consideration to your excuse.
