I miss my phone with sim when i cal the number is switch of. What can I do to get

my phone (Samsung Galaxy 533? Yesterday i miss my phone it cost Rs.8000 (Samsung Galaxy 533) last month only i buyed it. How can i get my phone i have the IME number. whether i have to make a complaint with police or not. They will find out the theif or not. or any other suggestion is there any one pls help me.
