i miscarried and wanted to know when can i take a pregnancy test?

i had a misred misc. At 8 weeks.ive been prego before and im very in tune with my body.ok i had a d and c 9/14.and 9/24 got the go ahead.so thf next day and the day after we had unprotected sex.i feel diffrent now.and was wonderhna when should i take a pregnancx test and should it be urine or blood?thanx so much
 
not sure what the numbers mean but i'll try and answer. I have 2 children and have had one rather nasty miscarriage. With my first I was clueless about what being pregnant like. After him i miscarried about a year later. My third pregnancy, i knew i was pregnant straight away. i even had implantation pains. a cramping in my stomach that lasted about an hour then went away. I continued to take tests which all said negative. I persisted as i knew i was pregnant. I took one of those urine tests that u can buy at the chemist, that say they can tell u if u r or ur not 5 days before ur period is due. i took this one 2 days before i was due on and it was a very clear positive. i think it depends on when in ur cycle u conceived and how high the level of pregnancy hormone is in ur body. If ur sure ur pregnant, keep testing as i did. i'm sure it will come back positive for u. like u said u know ur own body. i never had a blood test to confirm pregnancy. good luck!!
 
Sorry about your loss.
Wait at least 2 weeks from the day you had sex. I would stick to a blood test because after a miscarriage you might get a false result from a urine test.

You had sex five days ago? I really don't think it's soon enough to be feeling pregnant. I'd take a test though, to get a negative, so you know any future positives are real and not anything left over from the previous conception. I do that every time I miscarry, just so I know I am clear.
