I might be purchasing a 1978 toyota selica liftback?

Other than one bad wheel bearing and a little cosmetic damage it's in great shape. Can anybody think of a reason why I shouldn't buy this car for $600. Where toyota's good quality in the 70's?
Does anybody know their gas mileage?
 
we had a 76 toyota celica and loved it. they come with a very reliable 4 cylinder engine, ours was a 5 speed stick. back in the 70's they were rear wheel drive and fun to cruise the hwy in.

remember that it's a 30 + year old car, but well worth the $600.

gas mileage should be close to 30mpg hwy and low to mid 20's in town.
