I was diagnosed with juvinile arthritis as a young teen, and it was treated. But after my pregnancy and delivery I started having extreme joint pain to the point I could hardly walk or use my hands. I have all over pain, a persistant but otherwise causeless cough. My health provider gave me some pain pills and wanted me to come back to test for lupus and RA (though he said RA was rare in someone as young as I am), but my health insurance ran out and I Don't qualify for medicaid. The pills, (there were 90) are almost gone. I have a few narcotic pain killers left, but ultimately, I am in increasing pain and have no way of treating it. I'm in enough medical debt from the baby. What can I do? If I have either of these illnesses, I know they can progress quickly and cripple me. I'm 21. Too young for that. The pain in my hands and wrists is so severe I have difficulty lifting my 12 pound baby.
