I made the mistake of not thinking people could be this stupid

I live in Richmond, VA, which is about 90% retarded(I'm not sure if that figure is correct, i really don't care) and then i made a mistake that puts me under the 90%. I didn't think there was any one person stupid enough to not know that you could make a left turn when the light was green, they aren't color blind either, they recognized the next cycle even though there was no arrow for my side. basically the person sat there for 2 cycles and didn't know what yellow meant either. and then later that same day, i get stuck behind another person in a different car who had there ass all the way in the intersection for that left turn, and they waited for the entire cycle in the intersection, they dint move when the light was red, they didn't do shit until an arrow appeared. How the hell is it that i have the great fortune of getting behind these people at a stoplight and how the hell did they get there license, wheres that goddamn cop?

Always remember that no matter what the standard for stupidity is, there's always someone going above and beyond the call asshattery.

People in SC are the same way. stupid drivers. We should have stricter driving tests, and test more frequently. Get all the bad fucking drivers the hell off the road

Some of the best ones I've seen

people who make a right turn, from the left lane. cutting off all other traffic flows and nearly causing an accident...

people who cut off on comming traffic to make a left turn in an intersection that does not have arrows.

someone driving backwards, with the flow of traffic.. so his front end is facing my front end, and then backing into oncomming traffic and changing direction to forward.

someone driving the wrong direction on an interstate off ramp to get to an exit on the other side of the ramp so he could cut off having to go over the interstate to get to where he was going..

i had a woman screaming and yelling at me in my rear view mirror, throwing a rampage in her own car because I was going the speed limit instead of 20 miles over the limit like she wanted to do. And she didn't just pass me. She stayed back there yelling for 10 miles. this one i was actually going 5mph over the limit but when i seen her I had fun by slowing to 5mph under.

A truck almost creamed me at an intersection as i stopped to make a left into a hotel, and the light had already changed to red. The truck not paying any attention to the fact of all of human kind comming to a stop in front of him, which would clue you into a light being there came up doing 65mph. When he noticed finally it was too late and all i hear is horn blasts and the truck swerves into the secondary turn lane, blows through the intersection and almost puts my trunk into my back seat for me.

btw this all happened in Virgina in and around the Norfolk/Little Creek area.

There is never a cop when you need one.

I've got a couple of stories about the lovely American highway drivers myself:

Coming back from a hospital visit I was passing someone (legally: they were in the right lane doing the speed limit, I was doing about 5mph over). She obviously didn't check her mirrors and for who knows what reason (there was no one in front of her) wanted in the left lane. She decided to try to come into it while I was right on the side of her. I honked my horn and she flew back over and started screaming and giving ME the finger.

Then a few days ago while driving to the flea market we were doing about 10mph over the speed limit, so we were driving in the passing lane passing people. Then this car full of people flies up behind us, obviously trying to go a lot faster than what we were going. We drove for about 10 minutes and got over when we passed everyone and found a blank spot. Those people blew by us doing about 90 and glaring at us. Dustin screams "I hope there's a cop up there!!" They were completely out of sight in seconds. About 10 minutes later we saw flashing lights on the side of the road; it was them. Of course we did the childish thing and pointed and laughed.

I was driving home once, the road was too icy to be going the speed limit. Hell, half the speed limit was too fast. It was a skating rink. Visibility was probably 10 feet. Some guy in an SUV flew past me going well above the speed limit, wife and kids in the vehicle. My first thought was "I'm going to see him in the ditch around the next bend." Sure enough, I rounded the next bend, and there he was, upside down in the ditch. I didn't stop. Does that make me a bad person? :happysad:
