I recently bought an 05 Electra Glide and kept my 95 low rider. You're right, the difference is like night and day. I have put almost 60,000 miles on my low rider in the last 4 years. Didn't know how much I missed listening to tunes while riding until the Electra Glide. I've already put almost 5,000 miles on it since the 4TH of July. Poor Low Rider! Since Miss Red showed up, I've only rode her about a hundred miles. OH WELL !

I traded my 09 RKC in and bought a 2010 Ultra Classic; and I had said over and over I would keep the King because it was such a bike.

I have a nearly identical story...

In 2008 I rented an Ultra for the wife and I to do a trip. MISTAKE! She loved the bike and ride and for months that is all I heard. I finally bought a new one several months later. I kept my Softail but I should have traded it. It sits more than it gets ridden.

I have always loved my Softtails since my first on 86. Just bought a 02 tourning Classic. Like the tunes but cant get use to the riding stance or the foot boards.
Glad I bought it and now plan to strip it and make it all about me .
Than Ill have the best of both worlds.
Definitly is a different ride.

I deserved that rain comment. As far as color everyone says black is fastest and unless I can manage a CVO, black will probably do it for me.
