It might be different if we decided to invade another country without fear of prosecution.

We can't leave, we are stuck here and there should be no reason that others can just decide to come into this country and have more rights than we do

well it does it many parts of California and other parts of the country, as well as out of control crime, overcrowded prisons full of illegals, bankrupt hospitals and other social services, etc.

the reconquista movement isnt what the average illegal immigrant is about. they're about opportunity, making a better life through hard work, and enjoying the fruits of their labor in a place they can be proud of. i didnt say open the borders to anyone, but rather allow more movement, especially among the poor. a poor mexican who is otherwise very useful and productive in our economy CANNOT do it legally. they simply CANNOT get citizenship. so the battle cry of "do it legally!!!!" is a red herring. let a reasonable number come on in every year (with jobs and residences and sponsors) and join the fucking team.

You're really against standards, aren't you?

there's a reason why the legal process takes a while. they check to see that you don't have diseases, aren't fucking stupid, and don't have a criminal record. Something that the typical illegal horde has in spades.
