Well here in Australia mullet is classed at the bottom of the list , especially if it comes from anywhere near an estuary because of its' muddy flavour ! Deep sea mullet is okay....
We have an abundance of fish to choose from ...my favourite is snapper which is a deep sea fish , average size up to 10 kg but can grow much larger & has nice firm , white flesh , especially if baked whole !
