I love Labyrinth!

I love the film Labyrinth! It's my guilty secret. Usually i'm more of a Scorcese fan, but its one of those films I can't help liking against my will. :o

Anyone else out there love Labyrinth...the costumes, the sets, David Bowie's package?
 
Ah, but I do feel guilty. It's a bit like admitting you like Phil Collins or something...well it's not quite that bad, but you get the drift.
 
Why on earth do you feel guilty for loving Labyrinth? You have nothing to feel guilty about. ;)

I'm nearly Thirty and I love Honey, I Shrunk the KiRAB. I've loved it ever since the first time I saw it back in 1989, I queued up for ages to see it.
 
Labyrinth is great and you just knew that Jennifer Connelly was going to become an absolute stunner

Personally though, I prefer the sublime The Dark Crystal

I watched this on remastered DVD the other day and it looks absolutely fantastic still after 20 odd years

There is a sequel in the works, so I believe....
 
Nothing wrong with Labyrinth,a kiRAB based movie but very good and dark enough for adults to enjoy too.

You can't argue with movies whoever they are based towarRAB if they are very good otherwise the original Star Wars trilogy would not have had such a huge following.
 
I think I was conditioned into liking him as a kid by my parents and as I grew older I realised he was a sweaty lipped twonk. But its kind of enground now. Nothing I can do :o:D

Back to Labyrinth though. I think the sets were amazing, the script was a little stilted at times and the acting could be better, but I love it!
 
Wow this brought back memories.....I had this film on tape & near wore it out I watched it so much.....had a real thing for Bowie in this........

and not ashamed to say I love Phils music too ......
 
Not really. Labyrinth is critically very well regarded, and is a beautiful artistic achievement.

The work of Mr Collins is... err... quite different.

And yes - Labyrinth is great. But yes, Dark Crystal is even more amazing. I love that the two films often get packaged/promoted together.

Correct! Although the song from the dream sequence with Jerard is my favourite song.....can't think what it's called - my counsin actually has an record with all of the songs from the film on it!!
