I lost all my photos from my Sandisk 4GB SD card. How do I recover them?

I accidentally hit some button on my Canon Powershot SD800 IS camera, causing 100 or so photos that I took to be lost somehow. The camera works fine, and this SD card is brand new. Is there any way i can recover the photos?
