Hi, me and my Mom are approved for a FHA loan of 70,000 but where trying to buy a house that's 60,000. I asked my mortgage broker how much would everything come up in the end all together (closing,taxes etc.) in a good fates estimate. It came up 11,000 DOLLARS we have to pay out of pocket!!! This doesn't sound right at all, not for a FHA loan. Please tell me how much it should be or what I should do, I believe this price is wayyyy overboard and defeats the purpose of it being a FHA loan shouldn't it be cheaper for a 60,000 loan?????

If you are in fact getting an FHA loan, go see another lender. 11k is way too high.
