I live in an apt building and I'm having problems with mice. What do I do?

I am terrified with mice, very tramatic experience when I was younger. My husband laughs about it because he never sees the mice. He works at night and I'm by myself in a 5 story walk up. They come out from under the stove and run to the radiator(about 6 feet.) I have the glue traps every 2 inches where I actually saw them run, they run around them. But if I do catch them I'm scared to remove them. So I run in the bedroom till my husband comes home and he throws them out the window. I sweep vacume and wipe every surface with bleach every time I cook. How do I get rid of them I see them and am on edge the rest of the night and can't sleep. I can't stay up till 5 am when my husband gets home anymore.
PS I saw one tonight hence the question.
