I wrote one on here before and people loved it! Here is another one:
On a cold winter’s night,
They sit next to the fireplace that’s burning bright.
They stare into each other’s eyes,
And for that moment they realize,
There is only one person they love the most,
And to that love they toast.
They vow for love to keep them together.
They vow for happiness now and forever.
They touch glasses and take a drink.
And for a brief moment they begin to think,
Does life get any better than this?
Just when they think it doesn’t, they seal it with a kiss.
They hold each other tight as if to never let go.
Feeling uncertain about the future as they look out the window.
They wonder, is this love that they feel?
If so, then is this love for real?
The answers to all their questions they’ll find later in life.
When he is still her husband and she is still his wife.
