I like to accelerate slow in my Mercury Mountaineer?

Is that bad for the tranmission? Does that put more wear and tear than accelerating too fast?
 
The answer is no it is actually better for you to accelerate slower then to accelerate fast. If you accelerate slow then you have a less chance of tearing your engine and tranny up. So no it is really better for you to accelerate slow and I really have to start with my camaros.
