Yesterday at school, this girl I like was talking to her girlfriend (best friend) most of the time on break. I didn't want to intrude in on their conversation too much. So when I went to throw my garbage away, I just said "Hey" and she smiled back and said "Hey". Then as I was getting ready to leave the cafeteria, I said "I'll see you in class." and she said "See ya!" I don't know how to describe her smile exactly. It looked kind forced, not like a sarcastic smile but her eyes were squinty when she smiled.
I hope I didn't freak her out by my email. I just thought it was a friendly email.
The email message I sent was: "Hi this is (me) from English, we met in the student center today(10/15). I didn't know you were Armenian! I'm part Armenian on my mother's side! =) There's not that many Armenians you know!"
I wouldn't have sent her an email if I had a chance to tell her I'm Armenian in class but everyone bolted as soon as our instructor let us go. She said toward the end of class that she's Armenian and I thought that was cool.
That one email I sent her was the the only message I sent her. I didn't send her anything else so I can't see how she would think I'm stalking her.
I notice her girlfriend didn't say anything to me. I'm just curious about the girl because I kind of like her but I don't want to barge in on her and her girlfriend if they're talking.
I just wish she would have answered my email at least because I would have more to go by. Like yesterday during break, she smiled at me but it wasn't a flirtatious smile. It was a really big wide smile that caused her eyes to squint. Plus she was talking to her girlfriend the whole time during break. I wonder why she didn't say anything to me. The only time the girl said hi to me was when I said something to her.
When her and her girlfriend sat at the table, the girl I like sat in a chair that made her back face towards me.
I just wish she was more receptive to talking to me yesterday. I just don't want her to be creeped out by me because of one email.
What should I do if she keeps talking to her girlfriend? I don't want to interfere with their conversations.
