No you cannot- the water damage indicators will show that the phone got wet, and you would most likely only be able to get a replacement if you have insurance
Here's what you do, go somewhere high, and "drop" your phone off.
Send it in all damaged, DONT SEND IN THE INDICATOR, RIP IT OUT FIRST.
and voila, new replacement phone!
I am not sure about sprint but I may have a solution. Many times my dad or I have left electronic in the rain or in water such as a ipod. We have put one in the dryer and this worked to fix it. We put the electronic near a heater and let the item dry out for a couple of days. That should fix it.
I know with ATT they have a detector inside the phone so that if it is ruined by water damage they will not replace it under insurance or warranty. But they will still replace the phone if you "lost it." I find this funny that they have that loophole. You might want to look at your sprint contract and see what their terms are for replacing a phone.

Sometimes you should just let the phone dry completely out and it will begin working again on its own. If not, you may be out of luck, insurance wont cover water damage.
