...his. Is there any UK law that says so? What the title says. I left my bike at my friends house and went on holiday and when I came back I forgot about it. about a year passed and when I came to get it he says its his now. is there a UK law that says you can reposses items that are not yours? I never GAVE it to him I just asked him to look after it.
 
No, it's still legally yours. However, the chances of your proving that are remote. Given the time passed, it will be very, very hard to show that you didn't give it to him.
