...burning of a yeast infection? I have recently discovered that I obtained a yeast infection from having too much sex with my boyfriend. It burns horribly, and I have already gotten prescreiption medication and monistat 7-day treatment, but the burning is excrutiating. Is there something I can do besides wait out the treatment? I need a here and now fix to this pain.
 
You don't get a yeast infection from having too much sex. Unless your boyfriend has a yeast infection and passed it on to you, that is.

Anyway........you need a prescription called Diflucan or the generic name is Fluconazol. It's a pill that you take once and then poof!! the symptoms are on their way out!
